Who who we are
With 17 billion plastic bottles consumed in France every year, and only 1 in 2 recycled, while the beverage industry is desperately short of recycled materials, the creation of b:bot was an obvious choice.
To manufacture plastic bottles, manufacturers have two options: use recycled material or petroleum. A recycled bottle therefore has two enormous advantages: on the one hand, it doesn’t end up in nature, so it doesn’t pollute, and on the other, it helps limit our consumption of oil, an increasingly scarce natural resource.
More than just a machine for collecting plastic bottles, b:bot offers a virtuous model that is ecologically, economically and socially sound:
- Ecological by recycling 100% of bottles with no loss of material in a short circuit
- Economical by drastically reducing costs and financing the recycling loop through the resale of materials
- Social with an incentive and educational approach that raises citizens’ environmental awareness and helps fund NGOs.
